Mt. Moiwa Summit Observation Deck
A Carpet of Light that Spreads Across the Ishikari Plain
The observatory on the top of Mt. Moiwa is located at an elevation of 531 meters. Take the ropeway and Morris car (mini cable car) to the summit, and you will be rewarded with a spectacular night view, which is like a carpet of jewels scattered across the Ishikari Plain. Awesome!
One of the most popular spots in Sapporo, the New Three Major Night Views of Japan. The colorful lights that fill the entire plain, are the most gorgeous in Hokkaido.

- From the "Odori" Subway Sta., take the streetcar and get off at "Ropeway iriguchi". 10 min. on foot (Free shuttle bus is available in every 15 min.)
